    smooth as Rhapsody

someday it will all be different
    stand-up bass
sounds off into the night back ground

    loneliness changes my mind
I just wanna change my mind
    like so many times before

    I cannot look back
    track the lack
    of contact

    map the loss
    create a legend
    Northeast
    Southwest
the West is where I lay to rest

    that past that binds
    chains that link
    genes that create
    tears that stain

    the hidden emotional maneuvers
    between lovers
    “love chess”
    leaves me

    1. Queen, rook, pawn…

      each their special roles…

      any may win the day…

      my heart you’ve captured already!

    2. Miles would be proud. Rolling, twisting, fumbling, experimenting — finding something new and different. That’s you — taking something from every encounter, finding something unique in every day.

I hope you keep sharing your poetry with us for a long time.

    3. Agreed! I’m not the world’s biggest poetry aficionado, but you really capture the essence of what it’s like to be isolated. The picture of the rose cross-section was a nice complement to your words.

    4. max:

      nice and love the artwork…yours?

    5. inherservice: thanks love.

The Panserbjørne: get your ass over here.

Jack and Jill: Thanks, I appreciate the read, even if you are not an aficionado. This is an older poem of mine that I keep dragging around. Glad you like.

max: always, ALWAYS nice to you have hear in my little pocket of the world. That is not my artwork, but I do love it.
      xoxo
