on the run
I’ve the urge to just drive– so I have skipped town– hit the road.
I also have the very strange urge to see my family, I am sure that will pass within a few days.
The trip I hope will help me appreciate the things I neglect in my life sometimes– my family and friends I left so long ago and the ones that live with me on a daily basis. I guess a litte bit of soul searching is what I am looking for.
This is not a sex vacation though I will not be closed to opportunity– mostly I would like to get some photo opportunities.
I will be traveling between SF and Denver and will be staying in Denver a fair amount of time and would love to get into some photo shoot fun. Please hit me up if you are interested. Lets talk. I am itching to take some photos.
Anyway… the pool outside my Vegas window is looking extra blue and refreshing.

enjoy your excursion dollface
I hope you find peace in your soul searching!
So is there any impressive public art in Denver worth seeing? I’m going there in a couple weeks
Seems like you court highs and lows as of late, Milady. There was that clammy sense of fog about your soul, then a hint of reprieve via some frolic at the CSC. Then, there was the breathtaking debauchery of that threesome weekend, but now you’re on the road with a yen for soul searching. “On The Run.”
Am I reading this right? Salt and sugar. Hot and cold. Light and darkness. (Chiaroscuro!) Lately, your personal quest plays as a dance of contrasts, yes?
If so, I’ve been there too, and I’ve no trouble understanding the lure of the open road. Smooth pavement, high speed. New scenery, new inspiration. Possibilities.
The direction (always forward) is clear, and the destination a comfortably loose idea with the promise of pleasant surprises.
Yeah, how I envy your freedom, V. How I’d love to just take off on my own, point the car in no particular direction and see where it takes me.
But alas, can’t do it right now. For the time being, things have to go on as rehearsed. Fortunately, I’ve got you to fill in for me. I’ve got you to live this freewheeling, camera swinging, drive-out-to-Denver, and devil may care what happens excursion into the unknown.
Yes, have no fear, for our fav adventuress is on the job, poised to spread as much Errol Flynn into every Walter Mitty moment as possible.
Here’s to the open road.
Wherever you go, that’s where you are. I am so sick of hearing that. Yet…I’ve never been to me. Hm.
It’s like a bracing walk through the mountains, I suppose. I drove cross-country to make it to L.A. and it’s as though parts of my life were ducked, yet came shambling up behind eventually. So one has to turn and deal sometimes before we move on. I hope that’s a pretty thin wisp of prosaic platitudinalizing you still find useful.
Izzat you bouncing up and down on the mattress? Delicious. Pity there’s not a manly implement you could be bouncing up and down upon, too, but I’d only be envious. Unless…hmm, indeed…

Its amazing how far we travel from our roots… and roots that we have in common.
