Single Chair- Feature Artist

The emotion I get from this artists work is full of tension. Many years ago- a lifetime ago even – I had a bad trip on mushrooms- it was horrid, beautiful, detailed, dripping wet with blood, cum, spit and piss, it was erotic, sexual, full of death and life, and bliss– it scared the fuck out of me and remains a prominent in my memory- I never did mushrooms again. When I look at the work of Single Chair that is where I go- stuck in this beautiful tension. This place where all that is wrong with my sexuality, becomes all that  is right, and is what makes me wet, slick and makes my clit charge- the take me down moments of my sexuality. These are rare moments.

Single Chair captures this realism that dips into a dark fictional, yet starkly real place. The images captured seem to be still frames from some film being made that never has intentions of being seen by any average viewing public. The realistic quality, makes me feel like I am about to see the next flick of an eyelash, or the next twitch of a frozen limb, or to feel her pussy slide across my tongue, or to hear the next cold spit cum droplet- drop from my used mouth and hit to the floor. It is a deeply erotic and uneasy connection I have when viewing these works.

When I look at the images Single Chair- I see the models relinquishing a side of their sexual self to the camera– an amazing feat for a photographer to capture and brave for the models to take part in the creation of such powerful images. Single Chair captures points in the action where it seems as though all involved– the photographer, the models, the women, the viewer– almost reach that point of a blissed out mental break of  joy, or pain, or ecstasy– putting us at right at the moment of that break, making us crave the anticipation of what comes next.
