Feature Artist: Gary Breckheimer
This weeks feature artist, Gary Breckheimer, make me miss New York down to my bones– I can smell and feel that city when I look at his images.
Every woman he works with fits perfectly in the space he chooses to place them in– as though they belong there, becoming a part of the urban landscape. His models– be them long and lean like the shadows of a palm tree or tight and compact like a bricked in window jam– become a part of that setting. When viewing Breckheimer’s work it feels effortless– the bodies flowing into the space create a juxtaposition that seems natural, yet obscure at the same time. Obscure to the mind, not to the eye. His shots must be quiet calculated to achieve this seamless perfection of body to environment.
Breckheimer’s work will be timeless and studied in Art History classes as well as he being a leader in the erotic art movement. He has been featured in many books and publications including Nude Magazine, B&W, Fine Art Nudes, Erotic Signature, Mammoth Erotic Photography, Art Collector Magazine and many others.

Just because of the come-on, the picture you chose to illustrate this exhibit, I had to go look. And I wasn’t disappointed.
So when will you be coming back east?
khavren: unfortunately I have no plans to head east anytime soon. It’s my favorite time of year there too. Maybe one of these days I’ll get a killer job there and just up and move from this west coast.
